Evelyn M. Delamater, 86, of Springfield, MO, passed away from Alzheimer's, on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, peacefully into the arms of her Savior.

She was born and attended school in Florence, NJ. At the age of 19, she married Tom Delamater and they celebrated 67 years of marriage this year. At the age of 25 she accepted Christ Jesus. Tom and Evelyn were blessed with four children, Tom Jr. (wife Pita), Nancy Conner (husband Bill), Robert, and Pamela Stilson (husband Brian). Also (adopted) son Curtis Brooks (wife Marie). Also surviving are six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Evelyn was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friends to so many. She and her husband, Tom served God faithfully in the Hospital Chaplains Ministry for over 43 years in Southern California and here in Springfield, MO.

She will be sorely missed by her husband and the entire family. See you on the other side, Mom!

Visitation will be at Hillside Baptist Church at noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. in the church (8366 W. State Hwy 266, Springfield, MO 65802 (417) 865-7286). Interment will follow at Danforth Cemetery.
