EvaLee Schreiber, 92, of Springfield, passed away on June 21, 2016. She was born on August 11, 1923 in Christian County to Edd and Eula Bilyeu.

She was an educator for over 30 years, retiring from the Kansas City school district. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Twin Oaks Country Club, and enjoyed being a part of various keyboard and dance organizations. EvaLee had a strong faith in God and loved music. She enjoyed playing hymns, gospel, and popular tunes on the piano and organ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Maurice Bilyeu.

She is survived by her loving husband, Henry L. Schreiber, nephew Rick Bilyeu, niece Carolyn Smith and husband Mike, sister in law Ardell Ellingsworth, 2 great nieces, 3 great nephews, and 4 great-great nieces.

Funeral services will be held on June 24, 2016 at 11:00 am at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, with a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery.
