Eula Marie Tucker Cloven, 96, Springfield, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2012. Eula was born October 10, 1915 in Niangua, Missouri to Fred and Loretta Watson. She was married to John Tucker for 32 years; they had three daughters, Paula, Barbara and Judy. John passed away in 1973; six years later she married Frank Cloven, who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Judy Lile and son-in-law Darrell Hinds. She was the last surviving of seven siblings. She is survived by Paula and Harold Wright, Barbara Hinds, son-in-law Orville Lile, seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Viola Watson. Eula was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church for almost 50 years. Eula will always be remembered as a woman of strong faith who found time to nurture and care for others. Eula was a wonderful cook. She loved taking meals to friends and neighbors, even into her nineties. She was a rock for her family; always showing strength when times were tough. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27th at 11:00am in the Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be held in the funeral home Thursday, January 26th from 6:30 until 8:30.
