Ethel Petie Doherty, 81, Springfield, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in her home. She is survived by a son, James of Springfield, MO and daughter, Barbara Reader of Rockford, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the building fund at Christ Episcopal Church, 1601 E. Walnut, Springfield, MO 65806. Memorial service will be Friday June 1, 11am, in Christ Episcopal Church under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
