Esther (Thomison) Bedell , age 79, departed her life on October 31, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri.  She is the daughter of the late George P. Thomison, Sr. and Annie L. (Fox) Thomison.  She was born and raised in Petersburg, TN.  Esther was affectionately known as "Little Sis," being the second born alongside her twin sister, Esma "Big Sis" (Thomison) Thompson.

In 1959, Esther joined her older sisters and moved to Springfield, MO, where she met and married the love of her life, Tommy Bedell, on April 15, 1961.  To this union, two children were born, Sheryl Lavonne Bedell and Gary Eugene Bedell, Sr.  Esther enjoyed family life and she took a special joy in raising her children and helping to provide for her family.

In 1990, Esther was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  During her years of service, she served as a Regular Pioneer, spending many hours sharing her love for God's Word, the Bible.  Later, she and her husband, Tommy, shared their time together as Regular Pioneers…one of the most enjoyable times in their lives!

Esther leaves to cherish her memory:  her loving husband , Tommy E. Bedell; daughter , Sheryl Looney (Byron); sons , Gary Bedell, Sr. (Kasi) and Deoin Bedell (Tomara); Grandchildren : Byron 'BJ' Looney, Jr.; Bryce Looney; A'Zuare Bedell; Lameeka Jeffries; Gary Bedell, Jr. (Lauren); Arthelle Mercado; Austin Bedell; Cameron Bedell (Anna); Ashlyn Jay (Cedric); Chanellar Dunigan; Solomon Bedell; Lola Bedell; Kelsie Andrus; Mercedes Adam; Deionna Adam, and Nia Bedell; Great Grandchildren (24); Great-Great Grandchildren (3); Sisters : Esma Thompson (James, Sr.); Geneva Shepperd; Patricia Thomison; Mary Crenshaw; Dorothy Talley (Ronnie); Brothers : Whayne Shelton (Rose); James Thomison, Richard Thomison, and Robert Thomison (Deborah); Sisters-in-Law : Hazel Thomison; Anna Smith; Genella Bond; Patsy Givens (Gregg); Tonya Bedell; Marshall Johnson (Zebedee); Brothers-in-Law : Joe Bedell (Delois); Ernie Bedell, Sr. (Helen); Larry Bedell (Hazel); Ronnie Bedell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
