E'Ray Benji Joe was born on March 8, 2013 to Juncy Joe and Evans Raymond, in Springfield, MO. E'Ray was born with a rare metabolic disorder. He was a strong little boy, who was a fighter even though so much was stacked against him. This didn't stop him from smiling or being loveable to all around him. He was known as "Smiley." Anyone who held him received that wonderful gift. He was at a busy point in his life, crawling around, rolling and playing. He would always watch what everyone around him was doing and wanted to get into the action. He loved playing with his brother, sister and cousins. He is survived by his loving parents; sister, Faith and brother, Steven; Grandparents, Fred and Sispel Joe, Springfield, MO and Lesy Johnny and Nixon Manuel, Neosho, MO ; Aunts, Joevita, Forda, Joelynn and Joslynn, Springfield, MO; Uncles, Maioriko (Mia), Springfield, MO; Joe, Hilo, HI; Namath, Guam; and Jason, Springfield, MO; Aunts, Lorilei Raymond, Nicole Manuel, Neosho, MO; Uncles, James Johnny (Serleen), Harold Raymond and Nick Manuel, Neosho, MO; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. On Saturday, November 30, we may have lost a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, but God chose to pull this beautiful spirited flower and give him his heavenly wings. E'Ray will be forever in our hearts and is now one of God's precious angels. Visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home from noon - 1pm with the service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.
