Fran, 87, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Cox South. She was born September 19, 1927 in Butler, Missouri, the daughter of Shirley and Josephine Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leo B. Roberts and two sons, Stephen A. and Patrick L. Roberts. She is survived by her loving children, Michael K. Roberts and wife, Debbie, Daniel J. Roberts and wife, Jodie, and Kathleen Hayford and husband, David; daughter-in-law, Alana Roberts; four sisters, Christine Green, Betty Beck, Shirley Lucks and Ruth Lewis; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Pastor Kevin Short officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
