Ellen June Grundy Woolley

Ellen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed away Friday, June 10, 2016.

Ellen, 89 was born and raised in Carthage, MO. She is retired from the St. John's/Mercy Business office.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth W. Woolley of Springfield; three daughters and their spouses, Lynne and Bob Bailey, Georgia and Chris Douglas and Katherine and Scott Corn; eight grandchildren and their spouses; 13 great grandchildren; her twin sister, Helen Hamer and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, George and Nora Grundy; two brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00 am in White Chapel Memorial Gardens under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to Humane Society of Southwest Missouri (swh.org).
