Elizabeth Louise (Williams) Potts, 91, Springfield passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in ManorCare. She was born July 8, 1923 in Springfield, MO. She was united in marriage to Rex L. Potts on February 14, 1943. Betty was a member of Southminster Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Rosa Williams, her husband, Rex and a brother, Frank. Betty is survived by four children, Sandra (Jerry) Zweerink, St. Joseph, MO; Linda Parsons, Peoria, IL; Gary (Sherri) Potts, Springfield; and Andrew Potts, New York City; grandchildren, Scott, Jeff and Phil Zweerink, Brian Parsons, Brigitta Enderle, Ben Parsons and Dakota Potts; and seventeen great-grandchildren. A celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Southminster Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Ellen Brantley officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am Saturday in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. A private family graveside service will be held in Maple Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church, 2245 S. Holland, Springfield, MO 65807.
