Elizabeth Ann Twomey Moye, age 90, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Friday, January 8 in her home. She was born on June 11, 1919 to Tom and Louise (Kleiner) Twomey on a farm in Laclede County Missouri. She was preceded in death by Wallace S. Moye, her husband of 52 years; and her son, Dr. Robert "Joe" Moye. Liz was an Avon Representative for 17 years and was always ready to serve as Home Room Mother for her children. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, making crafts, and playing cards. Wherever she lived, Liz always enjoyed her friends as well as being a member of several social dance clubs and the Telephone Pioneers. Her life will live on through her children and their families. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth "Betty" (Moye) Fahey, and Jack and Mary DeLozier; as well as her grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Jessica (Moye) Berghager, Mark and Barbi DeLozier, Todd and Molly (Moye) Davis, Brian and Bobbie DeLozier, Matt and Lauren DeLozier, Ross and Mary (Fahey) Ingersoll, John Fahey, and Tommy Fahey. Nine great-grand children, Mychal Adamson, Shelby Berghager, Jack DeLozier, Claire Berghager, Preston DeLozier, Georgia Davis, Cooper Davis, Brett DeLozier, and Elise DeLozier. Visitation will be Monday, January 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, January 12 at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Cathedral. Burial will be in Lebanon, Mo. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choosing.
