Elizabeth (Betty) Jane Freeman Haseltine died peacefully June 6, at Quail Creek Skilled Nursing.

Born January 9, 1920, to Jane Blake and Maurice E. Freeman, Betty was predeceased by her parents; her three brothers, Fred, Keith and Robert Freeman; as well as her husband of 53 years, Edwin Carlton Haseltine.

Betty and Cot lived and raised their family in Springfield. Both were involved in civic and church activities their entire lives.

In 1973, Betty opened Haseltine Office Products.

Betty is survived by her son Carlton Blake Haseltine, his wife Sheryl; and daughter, Cindy Haseltine Trowbridge, La Jolla, CA.  She was "Granny" and "Grandma Betty" to two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 25 step great-grandchildren; 12 step great-great grandchildren; and "Aunt Betty" to 13 nieces and nephews and their families.

A memorial service will be at 12 noon, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at  Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1551 E. Portland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Westminster's Parents' Day Out Scholarship Fund.
