Edward F. Schroeder, age 89, of Springfield, MO passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 at The Montclair. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Ed was a WWII Veteran and was retired from Frisco Railroad. Ed is survived by six children, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Thomas Kiefer celebrant under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 210 at Immaculate Conception Church, 3555 S. Fremont, Springfield, MO 65804.
