Edward Lee Rollins, 54 years of Willard, MO passed away on Feb 12, 2015. Eddy was preceded in death by his father Edward Rollins. He is survived by his mother, Joan Rollins; one brother, Rick Rollins and wife Kenla Rollins; two children, Dusty Rollins and wife Katie, and Kassi Inmon; 2 step-children, Christian and Chloe Stack; four grandchildren, Drake, Taigan, Kailyn and Kason; and one nephew Jed Rollins. Eddy was born on May 20, 1960 in Tempe, Arizona to Edward and Joan Rollins. His family moved to Ava, Missouri in 1973 and Eddy graduated from Ava High School in 1979. He joined the Army National Guard in 1983. Eddy was deployed in 2003 for Operation Enduring Freedom. At the time of his passing he was employed full time with the Missouri Army National Guard with the rank of Sergeant First Class with 31 years of combined service. Eddy was known as "Papa Army Man" to all of his grandchildren. He loved them so much. He was loved by so many, and he had a smile that could light up any room. Funeral services will be on Thursday, Feb 19, at 11 am at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service. Graveside service will follow at Sparta City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
