Edna Pauline Pitts, 86 of Springfield passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Springfield on January 27, 1927 to Lester and Clestia Moore Osborn. Pauline was a very caring and giving lady. She enjoyed making clothes for children at the hospital, baby doll clothes, crocheting and roller skating. She is survived by son, Bob Pinegar, Jr. (Donna); two daughters, Barbara Burns (Ronald) and Mary Clestia; four grandchildren, Christina Rycraft (Lance), Eric Pinegar (Julie), Ashlea Cardin (Kelly) and Ed Burns (Terry); eight great-grandchildren, one step great-grandson; two step great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lorene Barclay, Coretta Smith, Syvilla Sherertz and Dolores Morris; brother, Joseph Osborn and many friends and family. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 10:00 am in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with burial in Springfield National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 4-6 pm in the funeral home.
