Edith Kaiser, 79, of Ozark, Missouri went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Edith was born on June 4, 1933 in Kaunas, Lithuania. She also lived in Germany and came to the United States in 1951. She married her husband of 59 years on December 26, 1953. Edith touched the lives of people all over the world with hospitality, kindness and encouragement. Edith previously lived in Connecticut and Florida before moving to Ozark in 2010. Edith is survived by her husband, Walter Kaiser; sister, Astrid Ratensperger of Florida; two sons, David Kaiser and his wife, Sandra of Connecticut and Mark Kaiser of New York; a daughter, Ruth Simmons and her husband, Edward of Ozark; grandchildren David Simmons and his wife, Amanda of Nixa, and Christine Welsh and her husband, Travis of Springfield; and a niece, Vivian Meyer and her Family of Florida. Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 9:00 AM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
