Ed Hewlett, age 76 of Springfield, MO, son of Jesse and Virginia Hewlett, passed into his heavenly home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  Ed is survived by his wife, Marie, of 55 years, his brother Jim (Judy), his children Mark (Kelly), Angela (Jeff), Kevin (Anne), and his grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan, Noah, Melanie, Alex, Jacob, Mason, Owen, and Sam.  Ed was proud to be a member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church where he and Marie were married and devoted much of their time.  Visitation will be held at Schweitzer UMC from 9:30-11:00am on Saturday, October 6 ^th followed by the funeral service at 11am.  Memorial contributions would be welcome to Schweitzer UMC Community Impact Ministries.  2747 E.
