On December 29, 1925, Earline Louise Hovey was born to Albert and Anne Hovey, in Kansas City, Kansas, and went Home to her Heavenly Father on April 21, 2009. After attending elementary and high school, she attended Kansas City Junior College. The 1946-47 school year was spent at the University of Kansas. It was there she met and married C. Omer West Jr., on August 22, 1947. Earline is survived by her husband, C. Omer West Jr.; three children and nine grandchildren, C. Omer West III and his wife, Mayree and their children, C. Omer IV and his wife, Kristen and Amanda; Deborah Ann (West) Ellingsworth and her husband, Richard and their children, Chase, Trey and Tessa; and Scott Ray West and his wife, Donna and their children, Aly, Alexander, Olivia and Garrison. Her remains have been cremated and a memorial service will be held in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on May 3, 2009.
