Earlene Lewis, 68, Springfield, passed away at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2011 in her home. She was born June 29, 1943 in Edgar Springs, MO the daughter of Earl and Lorraine Bonebrake Henson. She was retired from St. John's. Earlene was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Davis. She is survived by her husband Bill; two daughters, Paula and husband Rick Huey, Springfield and Kelly and husband John Lawson, Clever; a son, Scott and wife Gail, St. Louis, MO; a brother, Donnie and wife Irene Henson, Springfield and a sister, Gayle and husband Mike King, Pernell, FL. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 15, 2011 in West Atlantic Street Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Riley officiating under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Missouri Veteran's Cemetery. No visitation is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
