Dorothy Grandstaff Wright, 87, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in Savannah, Georgia for over 33 years. She was married to her husband Carlton A. Wright for over 53 years. Dorothy was active in Washington Family Descendants, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, in Savannah, Georgia. She is survived by her husband Carlton A. Wright, Rebecca Wright Richard (daughter), Jeff Richard (son-in law), Brandi Richard (step granddaughter), Lisa Clemensen (niece), Abigail Wright (niece), Debbie Wright (niece), John Wright (nephew), Mike Wright (nephew), and Brett Wright (nephew). The family will receive friends at their daughters house in Rock Spring, Georgia on Friday March 16, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30pm. The services will be in Springfield, Missouri at Hazelwood Cemetery on Monday March 19, 2012 at 10:00am.
