Dorothy A. (Williams) Mills, 70 of Nixa, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in her home. She was born February 26, 1940 to Herman L. and Robetta Williams, who preceded her in death. Dorothy was a graduate of Parkview High School. She was united in marriage to James R. Mills on November 26, 1959. Dorothy and Jim worked together in their family business, J & J. Plumbing & Heating Company until retirement. Dorothy is survived by her husband James R. of the home; two sons, Michael J. and friend Teri Bartell; and Jeffrey A. and wife Dorlese; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; and her sister, Delma and husband Jim McCauley of Nixa. The family wants to thank all the very special people that have loved and cared for Dorothy through her journey with Alzheimer's disease. Memorial services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday October 23, 2010 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with the Rev. James Kellett officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M.
