Dorothy L. Frichette, Springfield, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 on her 90th birthday. She was born to George W. and Lillie Bell Tenpenny, on June 22, 1921. Dorothy was married to Emmett O. Frichette on June 22, 1937. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church, Springfield. Dorothy and husband Emmett set an example to others of the value of faith, marriage, family, friends and hard work. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son-in-law, three sisters and two brothers. Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Norma Smith; two granddaughters, Kathy Drake and husband David, and Kristy McCall and husband Kevin; five great grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley and Kaylee Drake, and Karley and Katie McCall; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Reverend Michael Overton officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
