Doris Helen Stuart, 93, Springfield, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Maranatha Manor. She was born March 24, 1922 in Dry Knob, MO, the daughter of Rama and Dorothy Mykrantz. Doris married Paul Eugene Stuart on August 28, 1958. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, who passed away in 2013. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. No visitation is planned and the casket will be closed at all times. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Broadway United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
