Doris June (Long) McSpadden was born February 9, 1933 in Tulsa, OK. She died January 21, 2015 in Springfield, MO. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry McSpadden; son, Michael (Shelly) McSpadden of Ballwin, MO; daughter, Laura Thornburg of Peachtree City, GA; grandchildren, Tim and Amy Thornburg and Nicholas and Noelle McSpadden; sister, Betty Turk of Salt Lake City, UT; and several well loved nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Junie Long; sister, Velda Horn; and an infant brother. Services will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. in First and Calvary Presbyterian Church. Burial will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
