Donna Jean Sarff, 96, Springfield, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 in Cox South.  She was born September 6, 1925 in Lacon, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Beatrice Mace.  Donna and her husband Max enjoyed golfing and the beach and spent many winters in Florida and Alabama doing both. Spending time with family and friends were an important part of their lives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Max R. Sarff; brothers, Jack Mace and wife, June and Bob Mace and his wife, Lorraine; and her sister Melba King and her husband, Clell.

She is survived by two sons, Randy L. Sarff and wife, Colleen, Great Falls, MT and Jan A. Sarff and wife, Julianne, Springfield; granddaughter, Melissa Luna and her husband, Francisco, Pueblo, CO; grandsons, Matt Sarff and his wife, Michelle, Gilbert, AZ and Brett Sarff and his fiancé, Chelsea, Kenner, LA; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Mahan (Anita), Justin Mahan (Kate), Elizabeth Leyba, Zachary Sarff and Alexis Sarff.

Donna will be laid to rest next to her husband in a private family service at White Chapel Memory Gardens, Canton, Illinois, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
