Long time Springfield, Missouri resident Donna Mae Bane, peacefully passed away January 29, 2022. She was born on the Oklahoma plains in the small town of Bessie. Born at home, with her grandmother attending as The Nurse mom was born February 14, 1931 and lived a vibrant life for 90 years. She spent many of those years working for Pacific Bell in Orange County, California where she and her husband, Larry Dean lived for many years. They enjoyed their siblings and their families living close as well as friends whom they enjoyed monthly get togethers over cards and Cribbage.

Donna and Larry moved again in 1967 and this time to Miller, MO where they purchased 300 acres and lived until the death of Larry, 1976. They had one daughter, Pattie Hood. She lives in Springfield, MO with her husband Steve Hood. Donna married again in 1979 to friend Max Bane who she was married to until his death, 2012.

Donna is survived by her daughter and son-law, Pattie and Steve Hood, step daughter Cindy Lewis and husband Phil, step-son Rusty Bane and wife, Juni. 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
