Donald J. Stone, age 84, of Ozark, MO passed away at 5:15 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at home in Ozark.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Donald was also a member of the U.S. Army 11th Cavalry. He was born and raised in Wood Lake, Nebraska. Donald graduated from Wood Lake High School class of 1952. He had a distinguished career as an executive of ConAgra Foods, Omaha, Nebraska, and retired to Ozark, MO and Scottsdale, AZ.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph J. Stone and Frieda A. Valentine; sister, Madonna Adcock, step-brother, Walter Lochmiller, and brother-in-law Dean Adcock.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice M. Stone, Ozark, MO; two sons, Joe Stone and wife Chris, Chanhassen, MN and Jeff Stone and wife Anh, Springfield, MO; a sister, Darlene Low and husband Harold, Arapahoe, NE; two grandsons, Peter Stone, Lincoln, NE and Michael Stone, Creve Coeur, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 17, 2018, in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Ozark, with Father Scott M. Sunnenberg celebrating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Marshfield City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM on Friday, March 16 in the funeral home.
