Donald Elmer Beebe, 93 years young of Springfield Missouri passed peacefully away at home in the early morning hours of 10 October 2022. Don was born in Radio Montana to Julia A. Hiatt and Russell R. Beebe. Born 12 November 1928, Don grew up on the family farm until his enlistment in the US Navy as a food service specialist and rose to the rank of Lieutenant before honorably retiring in 1973. He loved to travel, work with leather, cook, volunteer, garden rose bushes, read western novels, and keep up with current world events. Don married his fist wife Clara Florence Richards in 1968; adopted her three children and adopted his fourth child in 1970 when stationed in the Philippines. After losing Clara in 1999, Don met and married his second wife Naomi Kathleen Bex. Naomi's' children were very fond of Don, and he treated them as his own.

Don is preceded in death by both his wives (Clara and Naomi), his eldest son Walter David Beebe, a granddaughter (Shyla Rhea Brannon), and grandson Christopher Michael Gilbert.

Don is survived by his children Debra Jean Beebe, Clifford Wayne Beebe, Shannon Lea Beshers, Mike Gilbert, and Terry Gilbert; 11 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren (with 1 on the way).

Don's wish was to be cremated and buried with both his wives at the National Cemetery in Springfield Missouri on Friday 14 October 2022 at 1:00 PM.
