Donald Eugene Asher, 79, went home to be with the Lord, September 30, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Violet, daughter Marilyn Olson and her husband Don, granddaughter Connie Smith and her husband Alan and many loving family and friends. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 7-8 p.m., in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 3, 2011 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery.
