Dolores "Dee" June Dickinson, 74, Springfield, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 in Cox South Hospital following a brief illness. She was a successful business woman. She was a member of the Independent Insurance Association of Missouri and was the owner of Sloan-Dickinson Insurance Agency. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Krauck; her mother, Tressa (Chandler) Krauck; a sister, Mary Ann Krauck; and two brothers, Larry and Harold Krauck. Dee is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerald Dickinson, Springfield; two sons, Dennis Dickinson; and Dan Dickinson and wife, Carie, all of Springfield; a sister, Sharon Mueller, St. Louis; and one granddaughter, Ashley Dickinson, Springfield. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 in Hazelwood Cemetery with the Reverend Vincent E. Bertrand officiating, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38116. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
