Dolly (Bradley) George was born in Dallas County, Missouri, on August 22, 1921, to Eugene Drake Bradley and Letha Ann (Hill) Bradley. She died on August 1, 2026, just shy of her 105th birthday. She was one of 11 children in the Bradley’s blended family. She was raised in Windyville, MO. After completing High School in Windyville and joining the workforce in retail and service industries, Dolly married Adrian Allen George of Buffalo, MO, in 1940. From this union three children were born; all of whom live in Springfield, MO. Adrain passed away suddenly in 1978.

During their early years of marriage, Adrian and Dolly lived in Buffalo and Mexico (MO), and finally settled in Springfield, MO where Adrian was employed at Kraft Food Company for over 25 years. They were highly involved in their church and community activities. Dolly enjoys the outdoors such as gardening, watching nature, visiting with family members, and friends.

Dolly has several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren that live though out the Ozarks, Arkansas, and Scotland. Dolly is survived by her three sons: Larry Adrian George and wife Sarah; Gary Lynn George and wife Phyllis; and Gregory Allen George and wife Lisa; along with their respective families. She is also survived by three sisters: Mary Lou Alford of San Jose, CA; Joan Shewmaker of Buffalo, MO, and Frieda Morris of Springfield, MO.

The family wants to thank Lakewood Assisted Living and Season’s Hospice for the excellent care provided to Dolly.
