Dixie L. Lewis, 89 of Springfield, was born February 28, 1925 in Clinton, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord May 23, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Hugo E. Lewis; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step children, two step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole Monday, May 26, 2014 from 5-7 pm. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 27 at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3506 N. National.
