IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dianne A.
Wolf
July 17, 1937 – June 21, 2021
Dianne Esther Adams Wolf
Dianne passed away peacefully on June 21 st at the age of 83, with her loving son and devoted caregiver, Ryan Wolf, by her side.
She was born in Laconia, NH on July 17, 1937 to Carl H. Adams and Thelma Mathews. Dianne was an only child and raised by her father whom she cherished. She was also fortunate to be raised with her cousin and lifelong best friend, Carole Salmon of Derby KS. Dianne and Carole moved across the country to the Midwest as young adults where Diane met her future husband.
She was married on May 4, 1958 to Delbert J. Wolf and they were blessed with four children; Lori Graham (Steve), Kim Linder (Tom), Kelly Kirchoff (David) and Ryan J. Wolf.
Dianne had 7 grandchildren; Erick Rikard (Nicole), Jordan Graham, Andrew Graham, Whitney Linder, Justin Linder, Kyle Graham (Sloan) and Kinsley Smith (Cody). Dianne also was lucky enough to see her great granddaughter, Kiernan Emery Smith, come into the world in April of 2021.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 40 years.
Dianne was a stay-at-home mom and also ran an in-home daycare and loved each of the children in her care as if they were her own.
Following the death of her husband, she went to work at Springfield Municipal Court for nearly 20 years and made many friends during this time.
Dianne will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her children first and would have done anything for them. She never missed her children or her grandchildren's school and sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader. She was the first to volunteer for room mother, girl scout leader, costume maker, and was a taxi driver extraordinaire. She was a sympathetic ear, a shoulder to cry on, our moral compass and a best friend.
She will be missed every day.
A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Thank you to CoxHealth at Home Hospice for their end-of-life care.
