Diane Wilks Price, 73, Springfield, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in her home. She was born March 7, 1943 in Pierce City, MO, to Ed and Mary Wilks. After graduating from high school in Pierce City, she attended Drury College, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She received her BA and Master's degree in Education at Drury. She taught for several years in the Springfield school district. She was a member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Price; her family, Scott and Shari McKinney, Molly McKinney, Terry and Janet Price, Don Price, Steve and Carolyn Price and Steve's daughter, Amy, Kirk and Jennifer Price; three grandchildren, Austin Price, Jakob Price and Matthew Price; brother, Ben and his wife, Linda, Broken Arrow, OK; niece, Nicole Miller; and a nephew, Jason Wilks, Tulsa.

She was preceded in death her parents and a grandson, Nicolas Price.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Care to Learn, 411 N. Sherman Parkway, Springfield, MO 65802.
