Obituary

Diane received a call from our Father on Saturday , February 17, 2018. He made an offer she couldn't refuse, a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. She accepted and is now at peace and no longer in pain.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her son and his wife, Tom and Jennifer Martin; her daughter and her husband, Debra and Greg Rogers; four grandchildren, Bradlee, Ryan, Jacob and Becky; and her brother Tony Ditore. She was born June 9, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Daniel J. and Ann Ditore.

Diane's new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, gambling, gardening, traveling and reading to her heart's content. Diane was a strong woman who always put others first. She was the glue that held our family together. She always provided us with a laugh, although not always intentional. She is now reunited with Ken, her husband of 47 years.

A celebration of Diane's life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday , with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 , at Immaculate Conception Church under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
