DeWayne F. Webb, 81, retired Boeing employee, passed away April 15, 2009. He was a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine and a 32nd Degree Mason York for many years. He was actively involved in the Royal Colonial Lighthorse Brigade of Springfield, Missouri. DeWayne served in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant from 1950 to 1952. At Boeing, he was instrumental in the planning and development of the two presidential Boeing 747 s. He was preceded in death by his Father, Earl Lee Webb, his Mother, Mildred Geraldine Watson, two Sisters, Yvonne and Earlene. He is survived by sons Mark and Clark; daughter, Leesa McIntosh; brothers, Hollis and E. J.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, April 20, 2009 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 East Seminole Street, Springfield, Missouri. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 South Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri. No visitation is planned, however friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
