IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dennis
West
June 7, 1960 – January 26, 2021
Dennis Scott West, age 60, passed away on January 26, 2021. Dennis was born in Springfield, MO on June 7, 1960, the fourth child of William West and Dorothy West Westlake. He graduated Central High School in 1978. Soon after graduating Dennis joined Uni-Post as a printer; and in the early 1980's he started his own printing company Preferred Printing. For his remaining years he worked as a Roofer and Master Yardsman for Stiles Roofing.
Dennis loved working with his hands and helping out those in need. He never knew a stranger and always had a joke to share with those around -whether they were good or bad jokes. He was known for his work ethic and dedication to any task he was given. He loved spending time with his three children and spoiling his two grandchildren. He was a lover of sweets, the Kansas City Chiefs, animals, music, naps and a good meal. Dennis was a lifelong member of Boulevard Baptist Church where he married his loving wife, Jeanine, in 1989. Dennis will be deeply missed by all those that knew him and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, servitude and love.
Dennis is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy (Tracy) West Westlake, father William West, stepfather Clint Westlake and brother Tim West.
Dennis is survived by his wife Jeanine West, his son Russell West, his daughter Rebecca West, his son Robert West; grandchildren Estelle West and Rahlow West. Brother William (Bill) West Jr. (Karen), sister Cheryl Horton (Don); sister in-law Nyla West, sister in-law Karen Barrett (Mike); brother in-law KC Williams; niece Whitney Daniel (Victor), nephew Tyler West (Rebekah), nephews Clint Horton and Wes Horton (Amanda), niece Melaina Barrett and nephew Andy Barrett, niece Tracy Woodall, nephew Scott Loveland and many extended family members and friends.
