Dennis Keith Matney, 56, of Buffalo, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2017.  Born on December 12, 1960 in West Plains, to Clarence and Wilma Matney.  He was an avid hunter, volunteer firefighter, ordained minister and loved everything about racing.  He was a member of Fair Grove Assembly of God.  Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Matney.  He is survived by his wife, Debbie Matney; children, Nikki and Zach Kisling, Aric Matney, and Dakoda Rusher; grandchildren Derek and Levi Kisling; mother, Wilma Carr; and brothers, Randall and Jerra Matney and Bruce and Tammy Matney.  Visitation will be held Friday, September 15 from 6 – 8 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home and a graveside service on Saturday, September 16 at 10 am at Mount Comfort Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, Dennis requested donations be made to Fair Haven Children's Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757.
