Dee (Jobe) Beckley, 91 of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Quail Creek Skilled Nursing while recovering from a fall at home.

She was born in Lorenzo, Texas to Richard Lee and Effie D. (Bagley) Jobe.

She was a faithful and very active member of Second Baptist Church.  Her pride and joy was volunteering and serving the church.

Dee was a true Christian lady who took pride in her home and garden, enjoying life and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill in November of 2014; a daughter, Teresa Cox and siblings, Troy Jobe, Olle Jobe and Tylene McPheeters Zumwalt, and a brother-in-law, Harry Beckley.

Dee is survived by her daughter, Sandra Austin and her husband, Terry; granddaughter, Dawn; great-grandchildren, Teresa, Travis and Amanda; brother, Darian Jobe; brother-in-law, Tom Beckley as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial donations may be made to Second Baptist Church, 3111 E. Battlefield Road, Springfield, Missouri 65804.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri under the care of Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.  Informal visitation will be Monday, November 18, 2024 after 1 pm for friends and family to view.
