Deanna "Dee" Komas, 82, of Springfield passed away peacefully in her home Saturday September 2, 2023. She was born October 4, 1940, in Canton, OH to Ernest & Mildred (Vujasinovic) Veigh. Dee was blessed with one surviving child, Kathryn (Terence) Gardner and her two beloved grandchildren Piper & Genevieve Gardner. Dee was a restaurant and bar owner for many years in Springfield and continued working during her "retirement". Dee was known for her big smile, bigger dimples, and even bigger personality packed into her small 5' frame. Dee had a host of friends and acquaintances who will miss her and her inappropriate jokes dearly.

Cremation arrangements have been made with Gorman-Scharpf. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
