David Richard Stokum, 58, Springfield, MO, entered into his eternal home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

He met the love of his life, Monica (Hawk) Stokum in 1980.  They remained in love until he went home.

David was a A.S.E. certified mechanic.  He was employed for 18 years with Mike Russell Automotive.  He was blessed to have Mike as a boss and good friend.  They enjoyed working on "the farm" and hunting together.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and knew his eternal reward was in Heaven with his mom and many other family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Stephenie and husband, David Lafferty; one daughter; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He will be missed by many.
