David James Sims born August 12, 1949, in Eunice, Louisiana died on May 16, 2024, in Springfield, Mo.

He was raised in the Denver, Colorado area until 1960 before moving to Missouri. David served his country in the US Navy for 6 months active duty and 5 ½ years as active reserve. He attended Cleveland University to obtain his Chiropractic degree in 1974.

David was preceded in death by his father Estil Lee Sims and mother Delia Margarite Jacques Sims. David will be missed by his family including his brother Darrell Sims (Jean Sims), and sister Judi Coffman (preceded in death by brother-in-law Dr. Art Coffman). David has 6 children: Andrew (Andy), Kayla (Kyle Prince), Dylan (Kacie Sims), Zachary, Matthew, and Lauren. His grandchildren include Tyler, Londyn, Liam, Mila, Sophie, Lane, and Kinsley.

David touched many lives through his endless generosity, and healing hands as a devoted Chiropractor for many years.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Saturday, May 25th from 2-4 pm at Grace Community Assembly at 3101 Gretna Rd, Branson, Mo.
