David Ray Sandefur, 64, Springfield, passed away November 14, 2025 in his home. He was born August 5, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of James Robert and Shirley Mae (Kizzire) Sandefur.

He was a proud grandfather, loving brother, skilled craftsman and retired foreman.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Curtis; father, James Robert Sandefur; and his best fur friend, Loupie.

He is survived his daughter, Krissy Tarwater, husband Reece and their children, Pierce, Paisley and Palmer Tarwater; his son, Darren Ray Sandefur and his son, Deacon Ray KC Sandefur; sister, Lisa Quick; brother, Alan Sandefur and wife, Debi; and several nephews, niece, great-nephews and nieces; and many friends and extended family.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
