Clarence "David" Miller went to join his heavenly home and family on July 24, 2023. David was born November 22, 1948 in Springfield, MO at the old St. John's Hospital to Carl and Delores Miller.

He married Terri Pitts August 17, 1979 in Springfield. There were no children from this union. He had 2 sons, Clarence D. Miller, Jr. and Shawn L. Miller.

David worked for MoDOT for 26 years. He loved hunting, yardwork, fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shawn; sister, Carla Capps and both sets of grandparents.

David is survived by his wife, Terri; son, David (Anita) Miller of Pleasant Hope, MO; grandchildren Jacob (Chasity) Miller of Springfield, Heather (Britten) Ebert of Crane, Brandon (Kylee) Miller of Pleasant Hope, Cody (Haley) Miller of Pleasant Hope, Christopher Miller of Springfield and Crystal Miller of St. James, MO; seven great grandchildren; siblings Julie (Allen) Waldo of Highlandville, MO, Glenn (Lizette) Miller of Islamorada, FL and Ernie (Kim) Miller of Bolivar, MO.

He is now free from pain and suffering. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Richard Willis for being such a good friend.

Visitation will be from 7:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 5, also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, MO.
