Darren "Tracy" Bruce was born November 1, 1961 in Independence, Missouri. Tracy went to be with his Lord and Savior, peacefully, on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Tracy was a witty, fun loving man who enjoyed his family, Journey, Coca-Cola, being outside and working as maintenance man. Tracy leaves behind his beloved wife, Lucinda "Cindy" Bruce. Tracy enjoyed traveling the country with Cindy. Tracy had one daughter, his first princess and the apple of his eye, Christina Denise Jones. Tracy was Chrissy's biggest fan, and her best friend. Chrissy was the number one girl in his life until she blessed him with his two most loved and treasured princesses, Jozalynn and Meeka Jones. Tracy loved them more then anything and loved being a Papa. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents, Willford and Shirley Bruce. Tracy leaves behind his brothers: David, Dennis and Brian and sisters: Jane Ann, Dee Dee and Teggy. Tracy also leaves behind his step-son, Mike Scott; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and others from all his families. Tracy lived a life larger then this world and made many friendships along the way. Tracy leaves behind many friends across the country, and we know he loved them very much. The family wants to thank each of you for your kind words and appreciates the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations for the funeral fees be made directly to Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, in honor of Tracy Bruce. The visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6-8 pm. The memorial service will be Friday at 4 pm in the funeral home. The graveside burial will be held in Enid, Oklahoma, where Tracy will be laid to rest with his parents at Memorial Park Cemetery.
