Francis "Dannie" Martin II passed away peacefully with his son by his side on Monday, May 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mercy hospital in Springfield, MO.

Dannie was born December 20, 1960 in Springfield, MO to Dan and Linda Martin, who both preceded him in passing, as well as his older sister Reginald "Regi" Martin, who passed early this year. He is survived by wife Erin Martin, his younger sister Kelli Martin, niece Bayli Martin, ex-wife Dorlece Mills, son Jacob Martin, daughter Jessica Bentz and her husband Hans Bentz, granddaughters Bella and Sophia Bentz, and numerous aunts and cousins.

Dannie graduated Kickapoo Highschool in 1979, where he played football and baseball. He attended Crowder college where he studied Philosophy and was named all American for his skills as a catcher for their baseball team. He was successful in his career of creating Endless Summer, a successful t-shirt manufacturing business. He really loved creating patterns and had a love and appreciation for art and his career reflected that.

He enjoyed the sport of golf, he lived and played golf for many years at Millwood golf club with his sister Regi, son Jake, and wife Erin, and many friends and colleagues. He also loved riding his motorcycle and causing an uproar on the golf course with his Harley Davidson. You could often find him at a local watering hole watching Cardinals Baseball or Kansas City Chiefs football. In his later years, He found a love for lawncare and got to spend a few years working alongside his son Jake. One of his favorite things was food and if you were in conversation with him you would most likely be asked "What's for dinner?" and expected to describe in detail about the dish.

Dannie had a huge heart and immense love for his family and friends and if possible, he would do anything for anyone in need. He was loved deeply and will be missed, but would want everyone to know that he's fine.
