Obituary
Daniel Alfred Newton, 59, of Springfield, MO crossed the finish line June 9, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Catherine B. Newton, a sister and a brother, Suzette and David.
He is survived by his three brothers, John Jr., Bill and Carl, four sisters, Katie Brooks, Nancy Evans, Henrietta Hughes and Imeldia Mark, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Dan's services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Reverend Jason Doke officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 am on Saturday at the church. Friends may call after 1:00 pm Friday at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
