Daniel James Adair Dawson passed away peacefully, on February 14, 2015, in his parent's arms just a few short hours after coming into this world, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. Daniel was born at 2:18am, weighing 1 pound 5 ounces and was 12 inches long. He went to be with the Lord at 3:59am. During his brief time here, he left a huge imprint on our hearts and a void in our souls. He is survived by his parents, Cassie and Michael Dawson, and big brother, Will. He is also survived by his grandparents, Julie and Bill Dawson, Karen and Bill Rostine, great-grandparents, Linda and Don Overend and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. A private funeral service will take place at 2:00pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the March of Dimes, 5601 S. Campbell, Suite 107, Springfield, MO 65810. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Mercy Hospital.
