Dan Dennehy, life-long resident of Springfield, passed away March 6, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters:  Anne, Nancy, and Carol.  Surviving family members are his wife, Fran, his beloved niece and nephews and their spouses and children.  Growing up on a farm just north of Springfield and Dan's Irish heritage shaped his wonderment for the land and for all the creatures that lived there.  He cherished his family and good friends fiercely, and therefore would never shy from expressing his thoughts and opinions to them.  A private service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
