Dale Lee Nelson age, 87 of Springfield, MO passed away at 1:45 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 in his home.

He was a member of the family of Jesus, and loved the Lord with all his heart.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Johnson Nelson; father, Kirby Q. Nelson; and infant daughter Amber Nelson.

He is survived by his wife Susie Nelson; daughters, Kim Nelson Crocker and Courtney Nelson Griffin; his brothers, Kirby P. Nelson and Jerry D. Nelson; his first wife, Linda; his stepdaughter, Becky McGee; and stepson, Don Griser; his grandchildren, Chase Crocker, Gabrielle Howard, and Greer Crocker; step-grandchildren, Mary Alice Hicks, Jack McGee, Maggie Grieser, and Thad Griser; and great grandchildren, Isabella Sakaan, and Gateley and Sophia Griffin.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 13th at Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home.
