IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dale W.
Duggar
September 7, 1956 – December 15, 2020
Dale was born in Joplin, Missouri and his family moved to Grandview, Missouri in 1957. He went to school at Peculiar High School and later moved on to a trades school in which he became a Welder Fabricator. His work can still be found in high-rises and business fronts in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and used in the US States Postal Service to improve the processing efficiency. He took pride in his work for the city of Pleasant Hill as a supervisor of an underprivileged group of teens in which he mentored real-world skills to set them on a path for a successful future. He was featured in the paper many times for his group's accomplishments. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, playing games, telling jokes, sharing stories, offering sage advice, and watching over his children and grandchildren. He would tell you he would much rather be overprotective than under protective. He was the kind of parent that always knew where and what his children were up to. He had a patience and kindness that was felt from anyone who encountered him. He is survived by his children Dawn, Shannon (and Robby) and Joe; grandchildren: Sidney, Daphne, Sammie, Arron, Kian, Sierra, Heath, Ryan and Anthony. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Helen & Lloyd; brothers, Lloyd, Keith, Dewayne and Elden. His presence will be gone but his legacy will never be forgotten. We will always love you, Dale! Please rest in peace, you have earned it. The service will be held December 23, 2020 with family visitation from 1 -2 pm and the funeral from 2-3 pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. The family understands if you are unable to attend and if you would like to reach out to the family you may do so by mail to the Duggar Family at PO Box 8286, Springfield, MO 65801 or e-mail to daleduggar@gmail.com .
